Deputy Managers - Kingsmead Lodge, Longfield Manor, Orchard Lodge, Rapkyns Care Centre, Rapkyns Care Home, Upper Mead

Suitable applicants must be a Registered Nurse with at least two years experience. Requirements include a good working knowledge of applicable legislation, supported with evidence of good working practice and leadership skills.

Deputy Manager - White Lodge

Suitable applicants must be a senior level carer with at least two years experience and a relevant level 3 NVQ/QCF. Requirements include a good working knowledge of applicable legislation, supported with evidence of good working practice and leadership skills.

Registered Nurses

Registered Nurses would be expected to lead the staff team in providing good person centred care with the service user at the forefront of service provision. Duties to include assessing nursing needs and planning/evaluating care provision. You will be able to maintain accurate clinical observations of the service users' condition and keep all required records of nursing care. You will communicate with service users, their relatives and coworkers; administer drugs and treatments as prescribed with safety/accuracy and be able to assist in appraisal process of junior staff members. Senior Care Assistants

Vacancies available in a variety of homes; days nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities will be to act as key worker to individually identified service users, monitor their condition and maintain accurate records; be part of the process of defining and identifying the service user's needs and devising their individual programme plan of care and supervising and supporting at least three NVQ/QCF level 2 care assistants in the team.

Carer/Driver - Beech Lodge, White Lodge (Bank), Wisteria Lodge

This is a full time varied role and duties include: sharing with the other staff in meeting the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence, help in the care of the service users physical environment and in the general day to day activities of the home, transport service users to and from the day centre/college Monday to Friday, transport service users of the home on outings and where necessary to medical appointments. Applicant must be 25 years old or over and hold a clean driving licence with a minimum of 2 years experience driving in the UK is essential

Carer/Activity Assistant - Rapkyns Care Centre

This is a full time dual position involving the duties of both a Care Assistant and an Activity Assistant.

Weekend Driver - Rapkyns Care Centre

Key tasks include transporting service users on outings, visits home and where necessary to medical appointments, under the direction of the Home Manager. A clean D1 driving licence with a minimum of two years experience of driving in the UK is essential.

Activities Assistant - Beechcroft Care Centre, Clemsfold House, Forest Lodge (part time), Kingsmead Lodge (30 hours), Rapkyns Care Centre, Upper Mead

This is a flexible position assisting the activities coordinator in providing a variety of recreational leisure and educational opportunities for service users.

Kitchen Assistant - Beech Lodge

This is a full time position working under the direction of the Chef on duty, in order that food and beverages may be prepared, cooked and served in a hygienic and safe environment. Knowledge of working within a health care setting would be an advantage.

Domestic Assistant - Beech Lodge, Clemsfold House, Orchard Lodge, Rapkyns Care Centre (The Laurels)

This position will involve general household cleaning tasks and other tasks to maintain the high standard of infection control within the home.

Bank Staff

As a member of Sussex Health Care, you will be providing specialist care for people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and neurological conditions or caring for older people. You will help these people lead a fulfilling life and make a huge difference to their way of living.

Due to business growth, Sussex Health Care require bank staff to work ad hoc shifts as staffing levels demand across our sites in East and West Sussex. We are currently looking for people in the following areas:
